Q) What the differnce between Drag Ops and Eliminator Series Wheels?
A) Drag Ops Series is a 2-piece welded wheel and Eliminator Series is a 3-piece Modular
Similarities:
- Both have beed tested for SFI 15.1 Spec
- Both series feature the same designs
- Both are lightweight
- Both are available in beadlocks
- Both are ready for 3/4" Mag Shank Lug Nuts (for 7/16-20 or 1/2-20 threads) and 5/8" Racing studs. Nothing to special order. You're ready to go!
Differences:
Eliminator Series has more brake room.
- Drag Ops wheels have a 13.1" ID. Great for most race brakes. However, some brakes will not clear the rim if the measurement from center of axle to outermost edge of the caliper is greater than 6.5".
Drag Ops Profile
- Eliminator Wheels have a 14.5" ID where the caliper sits. Brakes with a 7.25" radius or less will fit. However, Double Beadlocks do have a 13.1" for tire mounting
Eliminator Series Profile
Eliminator Series has more color options.
- Since Drag Ops Series is a welded wheel, finish options are limited to a polished rim due to the intense heat.
- Eliminator Series are available in almost endless color combinations due to the assembly being blind bolted from the backside and not heat affecting the powder coat.
Multiple Sizes, Multiple Backspacings.
- Eliminator series offer more sizes than Drag Ops Series due to the 3-pieve construction and multiple rim half combination. Backspacing increments are 1/2" increments.
- Darg Ops seires offer more backspacing options in 1/4" increments.
